Thanksgiving Travel

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NAVTEQ. All opinions are 100% mine.

My absolute favorite thing about Thanksgiving is spending time with my family.  This year the entire family will be packing up and traveling to Grandma's house for a delicious Thanksgiving meal.  I can't wait! :) Thanksgiving is one the very best holidays.  Of course I am so thankful for everything I have, but it is nice to map update have a special day once a year to reflect on those things.

My journey to thanksgiving dinner will be about an hour drive.  Not too far compared to some of you out there.  But, it’s still an hour longer than I want it to be.  With family time and a delicious meal on the mind, I don’t want to have to waste anytime getting lost while driving.  I don’t want to get lost and go down some crazy back road.  There are so many things that can get in your way, even if you’ve been to your destination a hundred times.

I will be using an updated map to make sure I get to Grandma’s quickly and easily.  The last thing I want to do is waste my gas dollars headed in the wrong direction.   If you are traveling I highly recommend that you visit http://bit.ly/NAVMapUpdates and update your map.

map update can you because you don’t have to worry about heading the wrong direction or detours you weren’t expecting.  An updated map system can help you more than you would have guessed.  Think about the money you’ll save with out getting lost on your journey.  We all know gas is an expense that seems to disappear quickly.  Make sure you make the most of it, by getting to your Thanksgiving destination with an updated map.

As your driving you don’t have to think about the stresses that come with getting lost or refueling.  With your map update  you can get there sooner and easier.  It will save you time and that means you can be first in line for Grandma’s home-style mashed potatoes.  You can also save money, my favorite thing to do ;), because you will get where you’re going with no unexpected delays.

So keep this money saving tip and add it to your others.  This holiday season its time to get the most of your time and money.  Where are you headed for Thanksgiving? Use your in car device to get your map update

Happy holidays,

Sarah
